Cal Highland's Rhône
Rhône — AHCA Registered Highland Heifer
Rhône is our first-ever registered Highland calf offered for sale, and she represents the very best of our program. She comes from phenomenal Spring Creek genetics through both of her parents:

This pairing has been exceptionally consistent for us, producing calves with strong structure, great temperament, and the kind of maternal lines that matter. Her full sisters have all calved with ease, have excellent udders, and are reliable, gentle mothers.
Rhône herself is already showing everything we look for in a keeper heifer gorgeous frosting, a balanced build, straight topline, and that classic Highland expression. She’s easygoing, smart, and used to being around people thanks to her role in our yearly Christmas and holiday sessions.

Cal Highland's Rori
Rori — Unregistered Highland Heifer
Rori is a newborn heifer with stunning light red/yellow coloring, already showing the sweetness we love to see in our Highlands. She is sired by our proven herd bull Spring Creek Finnegan and out of Cal Highlands Torrey, a dependable cow with a calm temperament and excellent mothering instincts.
This pairing consistently produces gentle, elegant calves with strong frames and beautiful coats, and Rori is no exception. She would make a wonderful first Highland or a lovely addition to an existing herd.

Cal Highland's Rainer
Ranier — AHCA Registered Highland Bull Calf (or Steer Option)
Ranier is a newborn registered Highland bull calf born October 29th, already showing impressive presence and a rich red coat. He is sired by Lamborn’s Maverick, our AHCA-registered dun bull. His dam, Cal Highlands Merlot, is from one of our strongest maternal lines. An easy calver with beautiful structure, a sweet disposition.
Ranier carries excellent maternal lines, making him a promising prospect for anyone looking to add quality genetics to their herd.
For non-breeding homes or those wanting a pasture companion, Ranier can also be steered, offering the same sweetness and fluffy charm Highlands are loved for.


Cal Highland's River
Kara’s Steer Calf
AHCA Registered Steer Calf
Cal River, an outstanding Highland steer calf out of Swalander’s Kara and sired by Spring Creek Finnegan. Born on May 3rd, 2025, is ready to head to his new home.
This yellow calf is structurally correct, well-tempered, and carries excellent genetics from both dam and sire. With AHCA registration available, he’s a promising candidate for a show steer prospect or a friendly pasture ornament.


Cal Highland's Ridge
Ridge — AHCA Registered Highland Bull Calf
Ridge is an exceptional young bull prospect with the pedigree, structure, and presence to stand out early. Born in July, he will be fully weaned and ready to come home in time for Christmas, making him an ideal holiday placement for a serious breeding home.
He is sired by Spring Creek Finnegan, our proven herd bull known for depth, balance, and a calm, workable temperament. His dam, Triple J Sarah Rose, is a powerful cow with excellent maternal instincts and strong, consistent structure.
This pairing has been nothing short of impressive—Ridge’s full brother Cal North has already gone on to become a phenomenal yearling bull, and Ridge is following in his footsteps. Sage’s Heifer Calf – Now Accepting Deposits
We’re now accepting a 50% deposit on Rosemary, Sage’s stunning yellow Highland heifer calf, sired by Spring Creek Finnegan. Born on May 14th, 2025, Rosemary will be ready to head to her new home by October 14th.
With a calm disposition and strong genetics, Rosemary is expected to follow in the footsteps of her dam, Cal Highland’s Sage, and carry on the tradition of producing quality calves. Both Sage and Finnegan are known for their excellent conformation and gentle nature. Rosemary is likely to mature into a beautiful yellow, just like her parents.

Cal Highland's Rhett -Sold!
AHCA Bull Calf – Now Accepting Deposits
We’re now accepting a 50% deposit on Rhett, Loretta’s eye-catching Highland bull calf, sired by Lamborn's Maverick. Born on June 10th, 2025, Rhett will be ready to head to his new home by November 10th.
Rhett is a striking mahogany with a black underlying coat he has inherited the calm, friendly temperament of both his dam and sire. He’ll make a great breeding bull, pasture companion or future finishing steer for a small farm.


Cal Highland's Ruby -Sold!
Belle’s Heifer Calf – Now Accepting Deposits
We’re now accepting a 50% deposit on Ruby, Belle’s gorgeous yellow, small-framed Highland heifer calf. She was born on May 3rd, 2025, and will be ready to go to her new home by October 3rd.
Ruby has a wonderful temperament and comes from a consistent female-producing line—every calf Belle has had has been a heifer. Her full sisters, Maribelle and Nutmeg, made amazing additions to their new families last year. With her beauty, charm, and sweet nature, Ruby is sure to do the same.
